Auto-Liquidate (Closing) of a Trade Position

Auto-Liquidate conditions

For an open position, Automatic Liquidate can occur when the market price meets one of the following defined (but not limited to) conditions:-

  • Trade Stop Loss - when the trade goes against the direction of the position and closes out to prevent losses exceeding your initial investment; as indicated under the SELL / BUY Button Price (see below for example).
  • Stop Loss - Regular (with Advanced Trading Options)
  • Stop Loss - Trailing (with Advanced Trading Options)
  • Sell Limit (with Advanced Trading Options)

The pre-defined threshold price must be sustained for a minimum of 2 seconds at the exchange, in order for the corresponding price trigger to take effect.

Note: Where a trade position auto-liquidates (closes), please observe the following -

LONG (BUY) TRADE

P/L referenced and calculated from the displayed SELL Price.

SHORT (SELL) TRADE

P/L referenced and calculated from the displayed BUY Price
